Pictures: Wren Walk at Mount St. Joseph's draws huge crowd for Roscrea Hospice

The annual Wren Walk took place on St Stephen's morning in aid of Roscrea Hospice

A huge crowd showed up in support of Roscrea Hospice for the traditional St. Stephen's Day Wren Walk, which for the first time was held in Mount St. Joseph's this year and enjoyed unseasonably warm weather.

Over 500 people attended and over €6,500 was donated that morning - which organisers described as an "overwhelming success".

"We would firstly like to thank Marcus and Irene Sweeney for allowing their property to be used for many years. They have always been fantastic supporters of Hospice and we will always be eternally grateful", the organisers said.
