Plans approved for Eco Cabins at Birr Castle

Plans have been approved for four Eco Cabins at Birr Castle. 

Offaly County Council has granted permission for the project which will see four stand alone Eco Cabins installed at Birr Castle Demesne. Plans have also been approved to provide four additional car parking spaces. 

Permission was granted by the council with 13 conditions attached. 

Among the conditions is that the eco cabins will only be used for tourism purposes and that all existing vegetation shall be retained and maintained.
