Plans blocked for large housing development in Tullamore

Plans for a large housing development in Tullamore have been blocked by Offaly County Council. 

Tullamore Vita Stilo Limited, t/a Capital Homes, had applied for permission to build 80 houses on the Clara Road in the town. The houses were planned to be a mix of two, three and four bedroomed homes. 

It would have been accessed via the adjoining Redwood development. 

The reasons for the refusal are not available at the time of writing.
