Plans unveiled for extension and other works at leading Offaly hotel

Plans have been unveiled for an extension and other works at a leading Offaly hotel. 

Planning permission is being sought for the works at the County Arms Hotel in Birr. 

The plans include the removal of  removal of existing temporary structures, minor internal alterations, and the construction of a new two-storey extension to the southern elevation of the existing hotel building.

Plans also include the extension of the existing car park including the provision of groundworks, pathways, public lighting and landscaping.

A planning application is set to be lodged with Offaly County Council.
