Ciaran Burke - Another player who has scarcely put a foot wrong the whole year. Ciaran Burke had another very steady game. Rating – 8.
3.
Cathal King - Cathal King really settled into life as an inter-county hurler in 2024. Outstanding at midfield for the U-20s, he showed that he is very much at home at this level and did a lot of very good things here. Rating – 7.
4.
David King - Now in the Winter of a long career, David King continues to defy expectations. He was outstanding here and the quality of his play, his composure under pressure and ability to do the right thing commanded complete respect. He did find it hard to catch opponents when they did get inside him but Cork had some seriously fast players. A really good day at the office by King. Rating – 9
