– Dan Ravenhill - Dan Ravenhill was excellent. He got a couple of huge long range frees as well as a breathtaking second half one, he was on the ball a lot and also got two points from play. Rating – 9

– Brian Duignan - Brian Duignan has evolved into one of Offaly's most important hurlers this year and he demonstrated that here with another hugely effective display. His ball winning ability commanded respect, his hunger shone and he got two of his eight points from play – he would have hit double digits but for a couple of misses. Rating – 8.

.
– Charlie Mitchell - Charlie Mitchell is a little bit off his very best form at the moment but is showing flashes of what he is capable of. He scored a spectacular first half point and the key for the Kilcormac-Killoughey man is to dig in, keep working, keep doing the right thing and the day will come when he clicks into top gear and destroys a defence. Rating – 6.

.
Eoghan Cahill - Eoghan Cahill came in at a stage when players were fully warmed up and playing a ferocious intensity. He worked very honestly but a limited amount of ball went to him and he couldn't score. Rating – 6. Colin Spain - Colin Spain made a great impact when introduced midway during the second half. At a stage when players were tiring and fresh legs were required, he immediately injected life into Offaly and brought a real energy to proceedings. Rating – 8. Cillian Kiely - Cillian Kiely has had a lot of injury problems in recent months and may have a bit of work to do before he is firing on all cylinders. He missed one good chance of a score but got on some ball and worked hard. Rating – 6.
