Shane Rigney - Shane Rigney didn't get on as much ball as he did against Kilkenny but once again, showed a real eye for goal. His goal turned the game, he also got a point and 1-1 was a very good return on a day when he had limited possession and was tightly marked. Rating – 7

10.
Dan Bourke - Team captain Dan Bourke led by example. When a lot of his team mates were struggling to settle early on, he hit the ground running and took on Dublin. He scored four points, three from frees, the ball generally stuck to him like glue and his pace caused terror in the Dublin defence. His work rate was phenomenal and he was my man of the match. Rating – 9

Conor Doyle - Conor Doyle admitted afterwards that he is still searching for his really best form since coming back from injury but it is a measure of the regard management have for him that he saw out the full game for the second successive week. Even when it isn't quite happening for him, he keeps trying to do the right thing and that always pays off. He has a great engine and work rate and he got an important second half point after Adam Screeney surprised him with a short free. Rating – 7

12.
Alex Kavanagh - Alex Kavanagh won his starting place ahead of younger brother Leigh and he tried so hard. He worked hard for the ball and tried to create shooting opportunities. He was close to playing well but didn't score and was replaced during the second half. Rating – 6
