Roscrea Tidy Towns volunteers tackle the Moneen River banks
Almost 10 sacks of rubbish were pulled from the banks of the beautiful, but sadly neglected Moneen River
Over the weekend a team of volunteers from Roscrea Tidy Towns did a big tidy-up of the Town Centre Car Park and the above photo shows some volunteers with almost 10 large sacks of litter taken from the river bank over the wall on the right where the photo was taken.
The area, which has also become a magnet for anti-social behaviour, received a major facelift and the beautiful Moneen banks are restored. Photo: Roscrea Tidy Towns
