Roscrea's rising star Jack Keeshan releases new single
The Roscrea's man's new song 'Your Tribe' is already peaking in the iTunes charts
Roscrea singer-songwriter Jack Keeshan released his highly anticipated new single 'Your Tribe' today and the song is already performing well in online download charts.
A proud Tipperary native, Jack Keeshan has built a reputation for crafting deeply personal songs that resonate with authenticity and raw emotion.
Having experienced more than his fair share of loss at a young age, he channelled his life experiences into music, that not only tells his story, but also encourages open conversations—particularly among young men—about emotions, resilience, and personal growth.
Described as a modern storyteller with the fingerprints of Bob Dylan and the echoes of Bob Marley in his music, 'Your Tribe' is a call to keep moving forward, even when the road ahead feels uncertain.
"I wrote 'Your Tribe' from a place of hope," he told the Tribune.
"There comes a time when you realize you need to make changes—sometimes that means letting go of habits and people that no longer serve you. It can feel lonely at first, but if you stay true to yourself, you eventually find 'your tribe'—the people who lift you up and share your journey.”
Inspired by his own experiences, Jack’s lyrics capture the struggle of stepping away from what’s familiar—even when it’s harmful—and finding the strength to forge a new path.
A rising star in Irish music, Jack Keeshan is not just another singer-songwriter with an acoustic guitar.
His performances are electric, heartfelt, and deeply moving—a quality that has caught the attention of some of Ireland’s most beloved artists. Having shared the stage with acts like Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey, Mundy, Róisín O, Liam Ó Maonlaí, and Gemma Hayes, Keeshan is carving out his own unique space in the Irish folk and contemporary music scene.
