Shane Lowry in tie for the lead after excellent third round at Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

Shane Lowry will go into the final round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in a tie for the lead after an excellent third round at the Yas Links. 

The Offaly man shot a six under par 66 to jump into a tie for the lead on -13 alongside Francesco Molinari and Min Woo Lee. 

His round included one dropped shot, five birdies and a spectacular eagle from the fairway on the sixth hole

This is a tournament where Shane has enjoyed success in the past as he claimed the title in 2019. 

He will be in the last group out tomorrow alongside Molinari and Lee. The trio will take to the course at 7.50am Irish time on Sunday. 

It is very tight at the top of the leaderboard with 15 players within three shots of the lead.
