'Stay vigilant' - Warning in Offaly as suspect flees Tullamore Garda Station

Gardaí posted the light-hearted update to their Facebook followers
Gardaí in Tullamore have issued a tongue-in-cheek warning over an escapee from Tullamore Garda Station.
"Be on the Lookout," a post read on Facebook as gardaí said "a notorious escape artist, known only as McMhór, has broken free from Tullamore Garda Station."
The post showed a picture of the now traditional festive fiend at the wheel of a car in the town.
"He’s been spotted engaging in his usual antics—wandering aimlessly, chatting nonsense to bystanders, and possibly plotting his next move (we suspect it involves tea and biscuits)," the post continued.
"Sources say he’s harmless but highly distracting, and his escapades are causing fits of laughter around town. If you see him:
Approach with caution (he might rope you into a long-winded story about the weather).
"Alert us immediately—our tea break isn’t over yet.
"Under no circumstances should you offer him cake—it only fuels his nonsense.
"Together, we can bring McMhór back where he belongs (preferably with his kettle confiscated). Stay vigilant, Tullamore!," the mock post concluded.
