TERRIFYING: Large tree crashes down next to tents in Tullamore during Storm Eowyn

People living in tents in Tullamore look to have had a very narrow escape during Storm Eowyn as a large tree came crashing down right next to the tents.

Pictures from our photographer Niall O'Mara show just how close this came to being a tragic incident as they show the fallen tree right next to the tents.

And incredibly, one of the tents ended up in the branches of another tree,

Although unconfirmed at this time, it is believed that no one was seriously injured in the terrifying incident.
