Treadmill challenge at Offaly store raises funds for Special Olympics Club

Healy Spar Express in Cloghan held a treadmill challenge recently, where all employees and employer kept the treadmill going from early to late.

All proceeds were donated to their local Special Olympics Club, South Offaly Special Olympics club. South Offaly Special Olympics Club would like to thank all the customers who donated, but especially to the manager Nicola Daly for organising the event.

Also to the owners Aidan and Yvonne and each and every one of the employees, who gave their valuable time to help complete the challenge. They really appreciate your help.

The total collected was an amazing €2,430 and the photo above shows Nicola presenting the cheque to the South Offaly Special Olympics Club representative from Cloghan, David Shaughnessy. Thank you all.
