Tullamore's king of comedy performing in Offaly pub on Friday night

Rotary Club Strictly Stand Up winner in fundraiser for Irish Cancer Society
THE winner of the Tullamore Rotary Club Strictly Stand Up competition 2024, Ciaran Kelly, will be performing again this Friday night at a fundraiser in Lee's Bar.
The local comedy champ will once again show he is cane and able to raise a chuckle when he takes the mic in the Church Street pub.
Stand Up To Cancer (8pm, Friday, May 3), will also feature Tullamore funny man Kevin Heffernan whose side splitting string of wife jokes were a huge hit at the Strictly Stand Up night in the Esker Arts Centre a couple of months ago.
However, Heffernan could well be overshadowed in Lee's by the giant of Edenderry comedy, Breda Fennessy, another top talent who stood up and was counted in that fiercely contested event.
Also on the bill on Friday in the fundraiser in John Lee's is Anthony O'Reilly Junior, an experienced talent on the comedy circuit, along with Sean Begley and Fiona O'Mahony.
There will also be a raffle and music on the night and all proceeds will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society.
