Met Eireann is forecasting some very unseasonal weather for Ireland tonight in their latest forecast.

Despite the fact that it is now first week of June, Met Eireann is forecasting some very unseasonal weather for Ireland tonight in their latest forecast.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, it will be an unseasonably chilly night with lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees which will bring some grass frost locally with mostly light westerly breezes. It will be generally dry and clear. Some scattered showers too, mainly in the North and a few in the West too.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Wednesday will be cool for early summer. Overall dry but with a scattering of showers occurring too, most frequent across the North and Northeast, some turning heavy with isolated hail showers. Some early sunny spells but clouding up at times too. Highest temperatures of just 11 to 15 degrees, in moderate, occasionally fresh westerly breezes.

Wednesday night will bring a good lot of dry weather with clear spells, but there'll be some further scattered showers at times, mainly in the north and west. Lowest temperatures 5 to 7 degrees, with winds easing light to moderate westerly.

According to Met Eireann, it will continue fairly cool over the coming days but with good spells of sunshine to compensate. There'll be a good lot of dry weather too for many areas, but further scattered showers too, the showers most frequent in the north, a few heavy.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Thursday will bring a mix of cloud and some good spells of sunshine. There'll be some scattered showers, most frequent in Ulster, a few heavy. The showers will be more isolated elsewhere. Highest temperatures 12 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate westerly winds.

Mainly dry at first on Thursday night with clear spells and a few isolated showers. Some uncertainty in the timing, but a spell of rain will move in from the west at some stage with on Thursday night or early Friday, with clear spells and scattered showers to follow. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in light to moderate winds backing southerly ahead of the rain and veering westerly as the rain clears.

According to Met Eireann, the spell of rain will most likely clear away southeastwards on Friday morning, with sunshine and a scattering of showers to follow. Highest temperatures 13 to 17 degrees in mostly moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty westerly winds, the winds a little stronger in norther coastal parts.

Friday night will be mainly dry in most areas, but there'll be a scattering of showers around, mainly in the north and northwest. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with westerly winds easing light to moderate in general, but a little fresher still in western and northern coastal parts.

According to Met Eireann, Saturday will be a bright day with variable cloud and some good spells of sunshine. There'll be further scattered showers, especially further north, with showers more isolated elsewhere. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in mostly moderate westerly winds, a little fresher in the north.

While there's uncertainty from Sunday, there is a chance of pressure building from the southwest on Sunday and Monday, to give mainly dry days with some sunshine, though with a few scattered showers in the mix. In this scenario, temperatures would recover too, ranging from 16 to 18 or 19 degrees by Monday, with light to moderate northwest winds on Sunday, decreasing light westerly or variable for Monday.
