WATCH: Traffic lights on pedestrian crossing on busy road in Tullamore constantly turning red today

Traffic lights on a pedestrian crossing in Tullamore are continually turning red every 14 seconds today even though there are no pedestrians crossing the road.

The lights in Cloncollig are just after the roundabout adjacent to Tesco and Aldi. 

The constant red lights are causing disruption to traffic, particularly vehicles exiting from the direction of Aldi and the NCT Centre as the roundabout is constantly blocked by traffic coming out of town who are having to unexpectedly stop due to the constant red lights.
