Wedding bells and wedding brollies for Offaly couple

EVEN the threat of Storm Betty did not deter Teresa Smyth and Tom O'Hanlon from celebrating their wedding day in style last weekend.

Teresa, Kilclonfert, and Tom, Rahan, were married at St Colman's Church, Kilclonfert, Daingean, where the rain held off after the ceremony conducted by Fr Declan Thompson.

Then it was on to a glittering reception at the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone where this fabulous image of the newly weds was captured on the lakeside setting on the shore of Lough Ree.
