Window smashed in Birr house

A CRIMINAL damage incident took place at a house on High Street, Birr recently.

The incident happened at 2.30am on Thursday June 18th when a front window of the house was smashed.

A half-hour later, a man in his late 20s was arrested on High Street for being intoxicated in public. “He was searched and a quantity of cannabis for his own use was found on his person,” a Garda spokesperson told the Tribune.
