Young man seriously injured in Offaly workplace accident

Victim transferred to Tullamore Hospital and Health and Safety Authority notified
A YOUNG man has sustained serious injuries in a workplace accident in Offaly today.
Gardai said this afternoon they were currently at the scene of the premises in Killeshal along with emergency services.
The accident occurred shortly after 12 noon.
“A male has been transferred to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment of injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening at this time,” a garda spokesman told the Tullamore Tribune.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified.
Local sources indicated the young man lives locally and is well known in the area.
