Lovely debut run from Eyecatcher Leading Dancer

Karl Burke could have another interesting two-year-old on his hands after Leading Dancer produced a fast finish on debut during the second day of the Betfred St Leger Festival.

The Starman colt cost owners Teme Valley and Austin Whelan 100,000 guineas as yearling and is a half-sister to 2024 Palace House winner Seven Questions.

She was trapped in midfield for much of the seven-furlong Coopers Marquees EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes but once she found space late on, she powered to the line to finish a clear third behind leading pair Classic Cuvee and Amelia Earhart.
