A man has been charged after police seized £184,000 worth of cocaine.

Officers discovered the drugs after executing an intelligence-led search warrant at a premises on Broad Street in Denny, near Falkirk.

They also recovered a low four-figure sum of money.

The cocaine has an estimated street value of £184,000, officers said.

Police said that a 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged and will appear in court in due course.

Detective Inspector John Currie said: “We work every day to protect the public by preventing drugs being circulated on our streets.

“This is vitally important in addressing the concerns of local people in the Forth Valley area.

“Information and support from the public is vital to our work and I would encourage anyone with concerns about drug activity in their area to contact us via 101.”
