Police say concerns are growing for the welfare of a 10-year-old boy who has been missing overnight in Edinburgh.

Haiden Crawford was last seen in Glenalmond Place in the Sighthill area on Friday at around midday.

Police say the 10-year-old may have travelled around the city by bus.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference number 0064 of June 21.

Haiden is described as being around 4 feet 10 inches tall and has short orange hair.

Inspector Quentin Russell said: “Concerns are growing for Haiden’s welfare and it is vital that we find him to make sure he is safe and well.

“He may have taken a bus and travelled around the city.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Haiden or knows where he might be to get in touch with us immediately.”
