Woman in 60s arrested in long-running Donegal murder inquiry

A woman in her 60s has been arrested in relation to the murder of a man in Co Donegal nearly 20 years ago.
Andrew Burns, 27, was murdered at Donnyloop in Castlefin on February 12, 2008.

One person has been convicted of his murder and is serving a life sentence, but gardai have previously said they believe that a number of people were involved.
On Thursday evening, Gardai arrested a woman in her 60s as part of their investigation into Mr Burns’ murder.
She is being detained at a garda station in the North-West.
Gardai continue to appeal to anyone with any information to come forward, in particular, the occupant or occupants of a red van that it is believed to have been in the Donnyloop area at around 7pm on the evening Mr Burns was murdered.
