How to get last minute Coldplay tickets? There's still a chance to make Croke Park gig

Coldplay are due to bring their highly anticipated Music of the Spheres World Tour to Croke Park this weekend. The iconic band are set to play four nights in Dublin on Thursday 29 August, Friday 30 August, Sunday 1 September and Monday 2 September.

Since the beginning of their Music of the Spheres World Tour in March 2022, the band have sold over 7.5 million tickets and it is no wonder that tickets for the Croke Park gig have been sold out since it was announced last year.

However, there still is a chance of getting your hands on tickets for "the greatest music show ever" as described by the Times.

Where to buy tickets:

The safest way to secure tickets is through Ticketmaster. Although the tickets sold out on release, tickets may still appear on Ticketmaster's resale page. This allows people to buy tickets from someone wanting to sell theirs and is facilitated securely through Ticketmaster.

People have also taken to social media sites such as Facebook to look for and sell tickets to the sold out shows. However, it is important that people be vigilant when purchasing tickets on Facebook and other social media or advertising sites.

Scam tickets:

There has been warnings issued to fans to avoid falling victim to scam ticket sales. As seen with Taylor Swift's recent Eras Tour in Ireland, fraudulent tickets are especially common before popular concerts.

AIB have issued guidelines for fans to follow when purchasing tickets for the Coldplay concert. AIB's Head of Financial Crime Mary McHale has said: "We all know what it’s like when we haven’t been able to secure tickets for a big event or concert and the closer we get to the event, the more the fear of missing out grows. But that shouldn’t mean that we have a rush of blood to the head and hand over hard earned money to strangers online. Concert tickets can be really expensive, and it’s important to protect yourself by only buying them from a verified source."
