He said on his social media:
"Last night, at nine o’clock on my way home with some food, crossing the traffic lights just outside my apartment, three lads pulled up in a car and jumped out of a car and jumped out and attacked me and punched me to the ground "
He goes on to say:
"God, I’m lucky actually but I’m sore because they kicked me in the head a couple of times. An amazing American couple walking by started screaming and the manager from the place on the corner came out and the police were there in seconds."
On his Instagram story on Friday he went on to say:
"It’s not good enough. It’s not good enough to be set upon on the street where you live and end up on a Friday in f------g A&E with a concussion"
