Garron Noone is 'moving to France' but there is a twist.
In a video shared to the well-known Mayo TikTok creator's social media on April Fool's Day, he said: "Just a bit of a life update, I am getting ready to move. I am going to be moving in the next couple of weeks and I just wanted to tell ye why and what the story is. First of all I love Ireland and I will always love Ireland. So much of my content is about Ireland but the last few months I have been kicking around the idea of moving to France, it is something I wanted to do for a long time and I just decided that now is the time to do it.

"The number one reason is the French people. They are some of the warmest, friendliest people on the planet. I don't really know the language but I am sure they won't really mind that at all. It is a beautiful place as well and the food. Of course I am going to take ye along with me, follow me I am delicious."

A lot of his followers fell for the prank until they realised what day it was...
One user said: "You had me until you said the French were friendly."
Another user said: "I forgot what the date was for a second. You had me there Garron."
Mayo's funnyman returned to social media after deactivating his accounts last week. His move to leave social media came after a backlash to comments he made about immigration.
In that first video, he said: "The [immigration] systems that we have in place are being taken advantage of, and that is plain to see. And the government continually does not allow people to express their concerns about that."
Garron released a video on his TikTok and Instagram accounts. The caption of the video read: "I stand by what I said in my first video, this video will clarify any points I seen that were taken up differently to how I meant them, and this will be my last word on it."
