Ireland rugby hero Andrew Porter has welcomed his first child with his wife Elaine.
The Leinster prop shared the news in a joint post with his wife on Instagram over the weekend with a cute picture of their newborn son.
In the picture, the baby boy can be seen holding onto his parents' hands. The couple have not yet shared the name or exact date of birth for their new son. The photo was simply captioned: "Our perfect baby boy."
The birth is poignant for the couple who got married in 2023 as they revealed last year they had suffered two miscarriages.

Friends and family were quick to congratulate the couple on social media. One said: "He is gorgeous, so happy he’s here."
