Gardaí in Carlow are investigating a break in at a commercial premises on Sleaty Road, earlier in the week.
The incident occurred between Tuesday, January 3rd and Wednesday 4th.
The front door of the premises was kicked in between 6pm on Tuesday and 10am on Wednesday.
Two cheque books were taken during the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact them at Carlow Garda Station.
