A bright and sunny day is expected today (January 30) with spots of light rain and drizzle in the afternoon.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts cloud building from the west throughout the day and highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with patches of drizzle to start, with rain developing in the north and west early on, tracking southeastwards across the country overnight.
Some clear spells and showers will come later with lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
