Carlow council gives go-ahead for extensive development at Carlow service station

A Carlow service station has received planning permission for an extensive development at the site.

Carlow County Council approved the application submitted by Campus Oil Ltd at the end of January 2023.

Changes at Campus Oil Service Station in Graiguecullen will include the construction of a new forecourt fuel area with two pump dispensers, new vehicular and pedestrian movement arrangements and the provision of two staff, five customer, and two service area car parking spaces as well as three tanker parking spaces.

The office and staff portacabin building will be relocated, and an existing storage shed and open solid fuel storage shed will be demolished.

A boundary wall onto Maryborough Street will also be demolished and replaced with proposed paladin fencing.

The planning permission also includes all other associated road tie in works, drainage, water services, lighting, landscaping, site and development works.
