Gardaí in Carlow investigating two incidents in which vehicles were set on fire

Gardaí in Carlow are investigating two incidents in which vehicles were set on fire in recent days. 

A report of a van on fire at Father Byrne Park was received by gardaí early on Friday morning, February 24 at 7am.

The fire was extinguished by the local fire service.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with footage, dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone, of the incident to make contact with Carlow Garda Station.

In a separate criminal damage incident, gardaí received a report of a car on fire in the early hours of Monday morning, February 27. At 2.30am a car was found on fire at Beech Road.

The fire was extinguished by the local fire Service.

Gardaí are also appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact Carlow Garda Station.
