A Carlow presenter has become one of the favourites to replace Ryan Tubridy as host of the Late Late Show.
Speculation on who will take the top job has been ongoing for weeks since Tubridy announced his retirement from the role.
Carlow native Kathryn Thomas's odds are currently running at 6/1 on Paddy Power, making her third in the favourites listings.
According to The Irish Sun, a spokesperson for Paddy Power credited Kathryn Thomas' jump in odds to people in the Midlands flocking to their shops to back her, calling her "one to watch".
Kathryn presents both the popular weight loss series Operation Transformation and the Irish version of The Voice, The Voice of Ireland.
Claire Byrne is still first in the running with odds of 4/9, followed by Irish TV and radio presenter Sarah McInerney (5/2).
Other names in the mix include radio host Jennifer Zamperelli, Doireann Garrihy and comedian Tommy Tiernan.
Longshots and unlikely choices (people listed as 500/1) include Pat Kenny, Bryan Dobson and Marty Morrissey, while former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore and former footballer Roy Keane are both on 250/1 odds.
