A Carlow football club has received planning permission to erect flood lights at their pitch in Killerig.
Carlow County Council this week (May 4) greenlit the application from Grange Gaelic Football Club for eight 21 metre high flood lights to the perimeter of the existing football pitch.
The approval also includes four light columns at each side of the pitch to provide enough light to allow football and/or hurling matches to be played.
It also includes all associated site works.
