Water outage alerts issued for days ahead by Carlow County Council

Carlow County Council have issued water outage alerts for the coming days due to ‘essential’ maintenance work.

Starting from Tuesday, water supply to a number of areas in Carlow Town and the surrounding areas will be affected or turned off for a number of nights from 10pm to 4am, due to “essential water main upgrade works”.

The work will take place over Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights.

Areas that will be affected include Staplestown Rd, St Killian’s Crescent, New Oak Estate, Burren Rd and Adjacent estates, Hanover and Adjacent Estates, Kilkenny Rd and Adjacent Estates, South Eastern Technological University, Blackbog Rd and adjacent estates, Ballycarney, Mortarstown and all adjoining townlands.

Carlow County Council have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
