Changes at Carlow Shopping Centre gets green light from planners

Planning permission has been granted for changes to units at Carlow Shopping centre by Carlow Co Council.

Carlow Multi Story Car Park Ltd applied for full planning permission to remove the non-load bearing dividing wall between units 11 and 13 at Carlow Shopping Centre.

In its application, it outlined that the removal of this non load bearing wall will allow for the expansion of units 11 and 13 into one unit.

Carlow Shopping Centre has three protective structures which form part of the Shopping Centre, the gate, the outside wall and
the Café.

The application confirmed that none of these protected structures will be in any way affected as the proposal to remove the wall is in the newly built retail development which does not adjoin any of the protected structures.
