Carlow's Top Sailor Finn Lynch Ranked 6th in Olympic 2024 Test Event
Finn Lynch, Carlow native, was ranked 6th in the Paris 2024 Olympic Test Event for Sailing, after placing 10th in the medal race. Lynch competed in the Men's Dinghy category.
The event took place 7th - 16th July 2023 in Marseille, France.
It was a very strong week for Irish sailors across the board.
Eve McMahon was ranked 11th in the Women's Dinghy race while the Men's Skiff Team of Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove finished the week in 13th.
The Irish will take the progress from this event and look forward to the Hague Test Event in August.
