WHAT'S ON: Your guide for this bank holiday weekend's Carlow Fringe Festival
Carlow Fringe Arts Festival 2023 is set to take place this bank holiday weekend, August 4th to August 7th.
The festival will commence on Friday 4th August with a Carlow Story Tellers Performance in An Gairdin Beo at 4pm. This will be followed by a tour of An Gairdin Beo and the official launch party 'Fiddles & Vittles' which will be held from 6-8pm.
Throughout the weekend, you will get the opportunity to experience art demonstrations like Maureen Murphy's Textile Demonstration on Saturday and Roland Byrne's Watercolour Painting Demonstration on Sunday. You can also participate in free yoga classes hosted by Ciara Cunningham, Laura Lochab and Connie Byrne. A busking competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday - find out more click HERE.
Why not taste the best honey Carlow has to offer with a Honey Tasting held by Carlow Bee Keepers in An Gairdin Beo on Saturday.
If you're busy during the day, each evening Scraggs Alley and Tully's bar will host a variety of acts and performances as part of the festival.
