Local Carlow business nominated in a whopping eight categories for Irish Hotel Awards 2023

The Woodford Dolmen Hotel located on the Kilkenny Road in Carlow have been nominated in several categories in the Irish Hotel Awards 2023.

This comes after the General Manager Colin Duggan celebrated 25 years at the hotel last month.

The family owned hotel was shortlisted for the following eight awards:

• Business & Conference Hotel of the Year
• Hotel Bar of the Year
• Hotel Restaurant of the Year
• The Social Media Marketing Award
• Wedding Hotel of the Year
• 4 Star Hotel of the Year
• Chef of the Year
• Wedding Planner of the Year

Speaking to Carlow Live, the Woodford Dolmen Hotel have said: "Having received our 4 star grading last year, we are delighted to have been nominated for these awards which recognize the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence of the entire team here at the hotel.

It is an honour and a privilege for us, especially as a small family owned hotel to be shortlisted among the many other great hotels and hotel groups within the different categories"

The winners of Irish Hotel Awards 2023 will be announced on Tuesday 17th October.
