Carlow Gardaí investigate burglary where assailant stole large quantity of high value items

Gardaí are investigating a burglary which occurred on a building site on the Kilkenny Rd, Carlow.

The burglary occurred on Saturday 9th September at approximately 10.30pm at night.

A substantial quantity of high value tools and equipment was stolen from within a number of secure storage boxes.

Gardaí believe that a consaw may have been used to cut open the secure storage boxes.

Included in the property stolen from the scene are the following:

  • Mikita angle grinder
  • Mikita drill
  • Dewalt multi tool
  • Dewalt Impact driver
  • Dewalt Laser Level
  • Eparminan laser level
  • 4 x Hilti Nail Guns
  • Dewalt Hammer Drill
  • Hilti Rotation level
  • 3 x Hilti Rotation level receivers
  • 10 x Hilti batteries
  • 4 x Hilti Screw guns
  • 4 x Hilti Impacters
  • Hilti jigsaw

Gardaí in Carlow are appealing for any witnesses to suspicious activity on the Kilkenny Rd at approximately 10.30pm, any person with CCTV/dashcam footage of the area or if anyone was offered any of the above items.
