Staff from Specsavers Carlow are hosting an event 'Pre-Loved Handbags for Hope'.
The event aims to fundraise as a team are going to Kolkata India with the Hope Foundation where they will perform eye tests and dispense glasses to the children and adults living on the streets and in the slum.
The Handbags for Hope sale will take place on Thursday 5th October and Friday 6th October between 11am and 4pm at The Exchange, Potato Market, Carlow Town.
There will be free tea and coffee and a raffle on the days of the event.
If you wish to donate your pre-loved bags before the event, you can drop them into Specsavers, Carlow.
