Spate of burglaries in Carlow as three incidents are reported within a week

The first incident involved the burglary of a premises at Main St, Hacketstown at 5.20pm on Wednesday 15th November. A lone male entered the property through a rear gate and stole a sum of money from the property. Tullow Gardaí are seeking any witnesses, CCTV/dashcam footage, etc. to contact them on 059 9181160.

The second incident took place sometime between 9pm on Tuesday 14th November and 9am on Wednesday 15th November. The perpetrators broke into Carlow Sports and Social Club on College St, Carlow where the office area was ransacked. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the scene. Carlow Detective Unit are investigating and are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV/dashcam footage, etc. to contact them on 059 9136620.

On Friday 17th November a burglary took place at home in Ballyshancarragh, Kildavin between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. The culprit(s) forced entry to the property via a rear bedroom window. The house was rifled through and a sum of cash and assorted jewellery were stolen. Gardaí in Tullow are investigating and are seeking any witnesses who may have seen anything of a suspicious nature in the Ballyshancarragh area between the above times to contact them at 059 9181160 or indeed anyone with CCTV/dashcam footage in the area.
