Covid and Flu Vaccination Clinic open in Carlow ahead of Christmas week
Carlow Vaccination Centre, located on the Grounds of St Dympna’s Hospital, Carlow, will host a walk-in Covid and Flu Vaccination Clinic to members of the public who are eligible for vaccination on Saturday 16th December from 9.30am to 2pm.
This clinic will allow people to avail of their vaccines ahead of Christmas week.
No appointments are necessary. Many GPs and Pharmacies have been providing the vaccine since the start of October. The HSE will operate these dedicated clinics this weekend for members of the public who may be working or unavailable to go to their local GP or Pharmacy during the week days.
Eligible individuals for vaccination at the clinic include: all healthcare workers, people aged fifty years for COVID and over sixty-five years or older for Flu.
A number of similar clinics are being held across the South East this weekend, they are as follows:
Kilkenny:
Kilcreene Vaccination Centre (Schools Immunisation Building) on the grounds of Kilcreene Orthopaedic Hospital, Kilcreene, Kilkenny open Sunday, 17th December 2023 from 12 noon to 4.30pm.
Waterford:
Waterford Vaccination Centre, Old St. Martin’s School, Cherrymount, Kilcohan, Waterford X91 EY73, open Saturday 16th December 2023 from 10am to 3pm.
Wexford:
Wexford Vaccination Centre, on the grounds of St. John’s Hospital, Munster Hill, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford Y21 H4CF, open Saturday 16th December 2023 from 1pm to 6pm.
South Tipperary:
South Tipperary Vaccination Centre, on the grounds of St. Luke’s Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary E91 PR83, open Sunday 17th December 2023 from 10am to 3pm.
