Bressie unveils special guest for 'Where is My Mind?' Live Show in Carlow

After a triumphant series of sold-out performances in 2023, Niall "Bressie" Breslin, the acclaimed host of the award-winning 'Where is My Mind?' podcast, is hitting the road again in April 2024.

Bressie spoke to Carlow Live about his upcoming live podcast show on Friday 19th April in the Visual Carlow, 'Carlow was the first show we booked when planning this tour.'

Niall Breslin has had a notable music career in the music industry, gaining recognition as lead singer and guitarist for the Irish rock band The Blizzards.

Expressing his admiration for The Visual Carlow, Breslin shared that it is one of his 'favorite venues', having played an acoustic gig there before with The Blizzards.

'The Visual is world class.'

Bressie has a unique connection with Carlow, with a history that includes playing rugby in the county as a former Leinster Rugby player and performing in Carlow's The Foundry, which he described as 'pure madness.'

Bressie revealed to Carlow Live that the special guest for the Carlow show will be none other than Irish television presenter and Carlow native, Kathryn Thomas. A prominent Irish figure, Thomas is expected to bring an extra layer of intrigue to an already captivating live performance.

Breslin promises a 'heartwarming' show filled with 'a lot of music.'

With over two decades in the music industry, he feels most at home on stage and emphasizes the importance of music in the show's composition. The audience can anticipate a dynamic and enjoyable experience with unexpected twists, as Bressie promises 'it's not what people think.'

Addressing the sensitive nature of mental health, Breslin shared his approach to balancing serious topics with entertainment. He believes that 'discussing mental health doesn't always have to be intense' and advocates for injecting humor into the conversation, making it more relatable and impactful to the audience.

Asking questions and engaging with the audience is a natural part of the live show, according to Breslin. He recognizes the audience's curiosity about the guests and welcomes their participation during the performance.

In a concise summary, Breslin describes the live show as 'Something Quite Different,' hinting at the unexpected and unique experience he has crafted for his audience.

Niall Breslin's 'Where is My Mind?' live show comes to the Visual Carlow live at 8pm on Friday 19th April and tickets costing €27 (including booking fee) can be purchased online HERE
