Adam Nolan represented Carlow's St Laurence O'Toole AC at the 123.ie National Indoor U20 & U23s Athletics Championships which took place on Saturday 20th January 2024 in the TUS International Arena in Athlone, Westmeath.
Adam competed in the U23 Men's 60m Hurdles heats for the first year. He took home the title with a 8.09 personal best.
Leila Colfer also won for St Laurence O'Toole AC in her heat in the U20 60m, running an impressive 7.62 to take the gold.
Leila also took home bronze in the U20 200m clocking a time of 25.16.
Arabella Adekoya ran a personal best of 8.68 in her first U23 heat and went on to claim the gold with a run of 8.71 in the final.
Reuben McCarthy competed in the U20 hurdles, narrowly missing out on a medal, finishing fourth in the final with a time of 8.77. Ruben also competed in the 200m, finishing third and receiving bronze in his heat in 23.63.
Aaron Shorten represented Carlow in the men’s U23 1500m with a time of 4.05.68.
Three athletes from St Laurence O'Toole AC competed in the U20 Pole vault; Jamie Hyland (taking home silver with a jump of 4.00m), Lee Prendsgast (taking home bronze with a jump of 3.80m) and Dylan Davis (finishing in fifth place with a jump of 2.80m).
Chloe Ryan competed in the U20 Shot Put with a throw of 10.38m and finished forth with a throw of 6.69m in the U20 WFD (20lbs).
