Wet and windy as Storm Jocelyn sparks yellow wind warning for Carlow
A Status Yellow Wind warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, and Roscommon.
Weather warning valid from 2pm Tuesday 23rd January to 2am Wednesday 24th January.
Tuesday will be wet and windy as Storm Jocelyn tracks to the northwest of Ireland.
Strong and gusty southwesterly winds will develop through the day.
There will be widespread rain during the morning and afternoon, followed by scattered showers in the evening.
Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees.
Strong winds continuing for a time Tuesday night with the strong and gusty southwest to west wind easing overnight. Clear spells and scattered showers at first, becoming isolated as the night goes on.
Lowest temperatures of 5 or 6 degrees.

Mainly dry with sunny spells on Wednesday. Moderate westerly winds steadily easing during the day and becoming light southerly later.
Highest temperatures 7 to 9 degrees.
Rain in the southwest on Wednesday night will become widespread by morning.
Lowest temperatures 3 degrees in the north to 7 degrees further south with a moderate, occasionally fresh southerly wind.
