Carlow secure promotion in battle against Down

Carlow secure promotion to Division 1B next year after battling performance as they hosted Down at Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday. Carlow won the game 3-20 to Down's 2-18.

Down pushed Carlow all the way until a bit of class from Carlow's Jake Doyle with a goal in the 61st minute managed to seal the victory for the men in the end.
