'Always a pleasure' Tributes pour in for beloved local Carlow woman after her passing

Mary McDonough, formerly “Mardi”, Tullow Road, Carlow passed away on March 26th 2024 in the care of SignmaCare, Killerig, surrounded by her loving family.

y. Predeceased by her husband Des and son Raymond. Sadly missed by her loving son Karl, daughter Jeanne, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren Jilly and David, great-grandson Jack, David’s wife Claire, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Gerard McPadden.

Tributes from the condolences section of Rip.ie read:

"Sincere sympathy to Karl, Jeane and the extended McDonagh family on the death of Mrs. McDonagh. Always a pleasure to deal with and chat with over the years, a real lady. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Good Friday (March 29th) from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Service on Saturday morning at 11am in Holy Family Church, Askea. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
