Coiln Brophy, Carlow - March 26th
Tributes have been paid following the death of Colin Brophy of Tinryland, Carlow.
Colin passed away on the 26th of March after receiving the wonderful care of Medical 1/ Pine Ward, University Hospital, Waterford.
Beloved son of Cormac and the late Margo. Sadly missed by his loving father, daughter Abbie, aunts Marie and Nan, uncle Anto, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends far and wide.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie: " Was so sad to hear of the passing of Collie a beautiful Talented man, and an old friend, we have many great memories of him in all his bands especially dead ringer and wing it. He was one of the best vocalists in Ireland and will be well missed by all his musician friends, may he rest in peace in the arms of the loving Angel's. Thinking of all of his family today at such a hard time and sending you our deepest condolences."
Another one reads: "Sending all my love to you Esther and the family. Losing Colin is a devastating blow to all of us, his music and memories will live on through his friends forever."
And finally: "Our sincere sympathies to Cormac and the Brophy family on the passing of Colin. May he rest in peace. Thinking of you at this sad and difficult time."
Funeral arrangements:
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Easter Sunday at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland R93 TH22. After Mass Colin will be laid to rest with his beloved mother Margo in the adjoining cemetery.
