Tributes pour in for local Carlow 'lovely gentleman' following his passing

Tributes pour in for Jerry Walsh of 204 Pollerton Road, Carlow following his passing. Jerry passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 11th 2024, at Carlow's District Hospital.

Cherished brother of John and the late Mary and Margaret, beloved son of the late Annie and much loved uncle of Marian and Jimmy

He will be sadly missed by his loving brother, nephew, niece, his beloved grand nieces, grand nephews and great grand-niece, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tributes from the condolences section of Rip.ie read as follows: "Deepest condolences to Jerry's family
Jerry was a lovely gentleman. Rest in heavenly peace."

 Another reads: "So sorry to hear of jerry’s passing. he will always be remembered in the Twohig household Great friend to my mam and all of us kids throughout our lives. Couldn’t ask for a better neighbor. rest in peace Jerry. we will talk about you for years to come."

And finally: "Rest Easy Jerry, it was a pleasure to have known you all these years. Your stories and character and laugh will be missed by everyone that knew you. You were a great family friend and neighbour to us all. Condolences to all the family."

Funeral Arrangements 

Funeral Mass on Monday, April 15th, at 11am in The Holy Family Church, Askea followed by a private cremation.
