Mary (Mollie) Coughlan (née Byrne) - 17th April, 2024
Tributes have been paid following the death of Marry (Mollie) Coughlan of Sion, Bennekerry, Carlow.
She passed away peacefully at her home on the 17th of April 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Dick and mother of the late Peg. Mollie will be sadly missed by her loving children Mary, Lil, Dan, Bride, Jack, Catherine, Dorothy, Carmel and Richard, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: "My Deepest Sympathy to the Coughlan and Byrne Families on the sad passing of Mollie. A kind and beautiful person whom I was so lucky to have as my Godmother. Thinking of you All at this most difficult time.
Rest in Eternal Peace Molly."
Another reads: "Deepest Sympathy on the passing of your mother to Mary Lil Dan, Bride Jack Catherine Dorothy Carmel and Richard and all extended family. May her gentle soul rest in peace."
And finally: "Sorry to hear the news of Mollie's death. A great lady with lots of heart. Always interested in people's welfare, and volunteered in many local organisations. I remember her helping in the craft area when Carlow IWA was trying to set up the craft centre in the early days. Rest in Peace Mollie."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at her home on Thursday from 4.00p.m. with Prayers at 7.00p.m. Removal on Friday morning to St. Mary's Church, Bennekerry, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00a.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
